When is the best time to take the SAT or ACT test?

Students have told us that they don’t want to take the ACT in the fall because “that is when many seniors take the test, and it is harder to get a good score”.

We also hear from students who don’t want to take SAT in the spring because “that is when the smart Juniors take the test, and it will be more difficult”.

Lastly, we have heard from students who don’t want to take the tests in the spring because “they always save the hardest test for the end of the school year”.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

So when is the best time to take the SAT or ACT test? Summer? Guess what- the SAT and ACT are NOT offered during the summer!

There are NO harder tests or easier tests. All tests are designed to be equal. Ignore the rumors; take the test on the day that best fit your schedule, and leave yourself enough time to take it again another day!
