Many private schools have seemingly endless opportunities for financial assistance and scholarships, and scholarship opportunities do not always mean that you need to have perfect numbers. Many private colleges will work hard to make it worth your while if you happen to be a good student. So, don’t just write off a private school based on previously held misconceptions, or even what is printed tuition-wise in a college’s brochure. Also, don’t be afraid to “shop around” and ask colleges what they can offer you!”
